Libyan Port Receives 1st Shipment from Egypt to Confront Coronavirus

The head of the Libyan-Egyptian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ibrahim Al-Jarari, revealed the arrival of 44 containers of cleaning materials, on the first cruise coming from the Egyptian port of Damietta to the port of Tobruk, within the sea line to provide goods and basic needs.

Jarari said that there are other shipments that will arrive soon with food, medical supplies, vegetables, and others, according to a statement published by the official page of the administrative control, on the social networking site of "Facebook".

Jarari thanked the Chairman of the Commission for his continuous communication and following up on the measures taken by the Libyan-Egyptian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in coordination with the Egyptian side, to provide basic needs throughout the period of the coronavirus pandemic crisis.

It is noteworthy that the Libyan-Egyptian Chamber of Commerce contacted the Egyptian side to establish a commercial line across the sea in light of the difficulties imposed by the coronavirus after the land borders between the two countries were closed.
