On Tuesday, a Libyan delegation arrived in Cairo to hold talks with a number of Egyptian officials on the Libyan crisis, and ways to resolve it politically, according to Russia Today (RT).

The delegation includes 75 representatives of Libya's southern cities.

During the three-day visit, the Egyptian National Committee Concerned with the Libyan Crisis is set to listen to the demands of the delegation, in light of Egypt's key role in the security and stability of Libya.

It is worth mentioning that, on Saturday,  the head of Egypt's General Intelligence Service (GIS) Abbas Kamel paid an official visit to  Libya.

During his visit, Kamel held a meeting with Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan National Army (LNA) Khalifa Haftar.

They discussed various security issues of common interests.
