Libyan Army Targets Turkish Ship at Tripoli Port

The Libyan National Army (LNA) targeted on Tuesday a Turkish ship, laden with weapons, at Tripoli port, according to local resources.

The sources said that the hit ship was likely laden with arms, weapons, and military equipment, Afrigatenews website reported.

Images of smoke plumes, rising in the air from a ship that docked this morning in the port, went viral on the social media platforms.

Earlier on Thursday, LNA spokesman Major General Ahmed Al-Mesmari said Ankara prepared a list of 229 terrorists in Syria to take them to Libya, noting that some of them arrived in Tripoli, and others are preparing to come to the capital.

He mentioned some of the most prominent and most dangerous terrorists who arrived during the recent period to the capital, Tripoli, according to a statement.
