Libya handball team defeated Gabon at the 26th African Handball Cup.

The tournament held at Cairo Stadium from 17 to 27 January.

Libya recorded their first win in the group after losing the past two games to Algeria and Morocco.

Libya now finished third in the group, while Gabon came at the end of the standings.
