Reports have revealed that Polish star Robert Lewandowski, striker for FC Barcelona, has received his first contract renewal offer from the club’s management but has rejected the proposed terms, according to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Lewandowski’s current contract with the Catalan club is set to expire in the summer of this year.

According to the report, Barcelona’s initial proposal did not meet the player’s expectations, either financially or in terms of contract duration, potentially complicating ongoing negotiations between both parties.

At the same time, Lewandowski is attracting interest from several clubs, including AC Milan and Chicago Fire FC, as he considers his next move ahead of the expiration of his current deal.

Further rounds of negotiations are expected in the coming period as both sides attempt to reach an agreement.

Meanwhile, the veteran striker remains fully focused on leading Barcelona in the La Liga title race.

The 37-year-old forward has been one of the team’s standout performers this season, delivering consistent displays with 17 goals and 3 assists in 40 appearances across all competitions.
