Cameroon is a country in west Central Africa region, bordered by Nigeria, Chad, the Central African Republic, and Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and the Republic of the Congo.

With a population of over 24 million, Cameroon, is home to over 200 different linguistic groups. French and English are its official languages.

Its area is 475,442 km2 and capital is Yaounde.

Its nature is a wide variety of terrains like mountains, rainforests, and savannas, deserts, beaches.

Visa to Cameroon

For Egyptians, a journey to Cameroon requires a visa whose validity is up to 3 months. Its total cost is estimated at EGP 2,283.

Citizens of Central Africa, Republic of Congo, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and Nigeria can travel to Cameroon without a visa and are permitted to stay inside the country for up to 90 days.

However, citizens from other countries need to obtain visas from the diplomatic missions of Cameroon to enter the country.

Compared with other African countries, Cameroon is relatively politically and socially stable, a matter which encouraged the development of agriculture, roads, railways, and large petroleum and timber industries.

The main contributors to Cameroon's economy are the agricultural sector, the tourism sector, the services industry, and the manufacturing sector.
