German's and Manchester City's winger Leroy Sane on Friday completed Bayern Munich switch in a deal worth up to £44.7m that could rise to £54.8m.
The 24-year old player singed a five-year contract with the German club. On his part, Sane expressed his deep pleasure at joining Bayern saying; " "great club with big goals."
"I want to win as many trophies as possible with Bayern, and the Champions League is the top priority," he said according to BBC.
The Germany player moved to the Citizens in 2016 from Schalka for £37m as he claimed two Premier Leaague titles, FA Cup and two League Cups with the English side.
Sane was a key part of the City team that won a domestic treble last year, but has been injured for much of this season.
He made 135 appearances with City, scoring 39 goals and making 45 assists.
"Our goal is to gather the best German players at FC Bayern and the signing of Leroy emphasises this goal," said Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Sane is set to start training with the Bundesliga side next week, although he cannot play for them in the Champions League this season.
