English Premier League side Leicester City continues their advanced negotiations with the French Nantes to sign Egypt international striker Mostafa Mohamed before the end of the ongoing summer transfer market, the French newspaper L'Équipe reported on Friday.
L'Équipe reported that the Egyptian star "is not guaranteed to remain in France beyond this Friday" as Leicester City took steps to secure the signing of the player
The team's coach Antoine Kombouare is not a fan of the player's presence in the field, using him in limited time last season, the newspaper added.
He made only a-15 minute appearance of the match against Toulouse and was subbed in the 80th minute in Nantes' 2-0 triumph over Auxerre on Sunday.
Mohamed joined Nantes FC on a one-season loan deal in the summer of 2022, before the club's t signed the player permanently last season.
