The 51st Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF) will host on Saturday a seminar with prominent actress Lebleba.

She will address many topics in the seminar, including her long and accomplished career.

It is scheduled for the seminar to take place at 5 PM (Cairo local time).

The 51st edition will run from January 22 until February 4 – with Senegal as this year’s guest of honor.

Moreover, the book fair has named Egyptian scholar and geographer Gamal Hamdan, who wrote the Encyclopedia of Egypt’s Personality, as the focus personality of the year.

It has commemorated Hamdan with posters and banners bearing his name.

CIBF, one of the Arab world’s oldest and largest book fair, has drawn annually over one million visitors over the past years.

The book fair is held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

This edition has witnessed an increase in the number of pavilions, with the participation of 900 publishing houses, in addition to 41 libraries from the Al-Azbakeya wall.

It is worth mentioning that Ninochka Manoug Kupelian, known by her stage name Lebleba, is an Egyptian film actor and entertainer of Armenian origins.

She made her acting debut on stage, during which she was impersonating celebrities.

Lebleba was discovered by entrepreneur “Ma’allem Seddeek”, who presented her to “Al-masrah al-kawmy" (The National Theater) where she became famous for stand-up comedies.

She has presented more than 80 films with A-lister actors such as Ahmed Zaki, Adel Emam, Nour El-Sherif, Mahmoud Hamida, and others.
