It is believed that it is not the first time that oil pipelines have been subjected to such an encroachment motivated by the theft of the oil materials which are still deposited in them.

The Oil Facilities Administration, that was informed of the matter, sent workshops to extinguish the fires and repair faults, while investigations continue to find out the identity of the attackers.

A video spread on social media showing the huge fire that broke out on the oil pipeline linking Iraq with northern Lebanon.
