Lebanon was hit by a powerful storm in recent days, accompanied by thunderstorms and heavy rainfall, resulting in widespread floods in coastal and mountainous areas.

Tragically, this natural disaster has claimed the lives of four Syrian children who perished in the collapse of the room they were in, in northern Lebanon.

The floods have caused extensive damage, submerging cars, homes, and infrastructure, leading to material losses estimated in the billions of dollars.

These dire consequences were highlighted in a report presented by EuroNews.

The torrential rains have disrupted traffic in several Lebanese regions and forced the closure of numerous schools and businesses.

The floods have left a trail of devastation in their wake, impacting the daily lives of many residents.

Lebanon now faces the formidable task of recovery and rebuilding in the aftermath of this calamity, as communities come together to address the challenges posed by the extensive flood damage.
