The Health Ministry in Lebanon on Sunday confirmed 1,006 new coronavirus cases, raising the total number of diagnosed cases in the country to 29,303.
The ministry recorded 11 death cases, settling the death toll at 297.
It is worth mentioning that a huge explosion hit Beirut on Tuesday 4 August 2020, killing 154 and injuring more than 5000 people.
