Latifa Teases New Music

On Tuesday, Tunisian superstar, Latifa took to Instagram to tease her fans with a new mysterious project.

"Wait for me in a new work.. 'Qusad Helm" from the lyrics of the late great poet Hussein El-Sayed and composed by musician Dr. Talal," she captioned.

Latifa’s latest artistic work was the music video “El Ostaz”, which was released on September 6.

“El Ostaz” was by the lyrics of Tamer Hussein and composed by Aziz El Shafei. The music video is directed by Fady Haddad and filmed in Saqqara and the Pyramids.

Latifa is considered one of the Arab World’s most talented singers. She got her chance after composer Mohamed Abdel Wahab heard her on the radio.

At the time, she primarily performed long Tarab songs but was interested in doing something new, so she began to work with composer Ammar El Sherei and poet Abdulwahab Mohamed, whom she met during her first visit to Egypt.
