Dolittle is an American fantasy adventure movie that was produced in 2020. It is a reboot of the Doctor Dolittle franchise, and primarily inspired by The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle.
The plot revolves around eccentric Dr. John Dolittle, famed doctor and veterinarian of Queen Victoria's England, who is turned into a hermit after losing his wife seven years ago. He remains behind the high walls of Dolittle Manor with only his menagerie of exotic animals for company, however, when the young queen falls gravely ill, a reluctant Dolittle is forced to set sail on an epic adventure to a mythical island in search of a cure.
It scored 19% from Rotten Tomatoes, 5.6/10 from IMDb, 3/5Common Sense Media, while 87% of Google users liked the movie.
