Spanish International and Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has officially announced the end of his relationship with Argentine influencer Nicky Nicole, insisting the breakup was amicable.
This comes amid swirling reports linking Yamal to Italian model Anna Giggnoso during a private trip to Milan.
The 18-year-old Barcelona star denied rumors of infidelity, telling Spanish journalist Javier de Hoyos on the program D Corazón: “We are no longer together, and the breakup was not due to cheating. It just ended.”
Yamal added that the split stemmed from personal reasons and had effectively occurred before his trip to Italy.
“The Italy trip has nothing to do with the speculation; the relationship was over before that,” he clarified.
Journalist Jordi Martin reported on his YouTube channel that Yamal traveled by private jet from Barcelona to Milan, stayed at the Armani Hotel, and attended an exclusive party with friends, claiming that Italian model Anna Giggnoso was present.
The rumors intensified after Giggnoso posted an Instagram photo from the same location around the same time.
Spanish media noted that this was not Yamal’s first solo trip away from Nicole, citing previous private visits to Seville and Marbella, which fueled further speculation about his personal life.
Giggnoso hails from Milan and is a well-known model and actress with a strong social media presence, over 715,000 Instagram followers, up from 595,000 at the end of 2024, and 800,000 followers on TikTok.
Giggnoso is an avid football fan, particularly of Napoli, and has been seen sporting the jersey of Georgian player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia before his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
Talk of her connection to Yamal dates back to December 2024 when she visited Barcelona with fellow influencer Fabiola Baglieri.
She was spotted at the Luis Companys Stadium during Barcelona’s 1-2 loss to Las Palmas and photographed with Yamal shopping at La Roca Village.
These sightings followed Giggnoso’s breakup with her previous boyfriend, Alex Badilla, in August 2024, a development that sparked significant social media attention.
Yamal and Nicole officially started dating in late August 2025, first appearing together at Nicole’s 25th birthday after weeks of circulating photos from a private party.
The couple frequently attended public events, with Nicole even spotted at several Barcelona matches, amid rumors that Yamal gifted her a Ferrari.
However, the relationship appeared to decline as both parties removed shared photos from social media.
Yamal later confirmed the split, emphasizing his focus on his football career with Barcelona and the Spanish national team, while the club expressed concern over the impact of recent rumors on his public image.
The developments follow previous tensions involving Yamal, including sharp comments aimed at Real Madrid ahead of El Clásico, which led to on-field altercations with players Dani Carvajal, Thibaut Courtois, and Vinicius Junior.
American rapper Travis Scott was also present alongside Yamal during the match.
