Lady Gaga Finishes Shooting Movie "House of Gucci"

Award-winning pop star Lady Gaga announced Saturday on Instagram that shooting completed for her new movie "House of Gucci".

The 35-year-old singer shared a photo of herself pounding fists with the movie's director Ridley Scott, and captioned: "That's a wrap, Rid #HouseOfGucci".

In the background, crew members could be seen looking on at the moment shared between the duo.

"House of Gucci" follows the story of Italian businessman Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver) and his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani (Gaga) and the aftermath of his death after Reggiani hired a hitman to kill him.

The duo married in 1973 and finalized in 1991 their porce. The former couple's marriage ended in May 1985  after the businessman left his wife for a younger woman after 12 years of marriage.

Maurizio was shot and killed in 1995 by a hitman Patrizia hired on the steps outside his office in Milan.

Patrizia became known as the "Black Widow" and was convicted for arranging her ex-husband's murder in 1998, She was sentenced to 29 years in prison, but she was released in October 2016 after serving 18 years in prison due to good behavior.

The crime movie is written by Roberto Bentivegna and is based on the 2001 book “The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed” by Sara Gay Forden.

“The House of Gucci” also stars Al Pacino, Salma Hayek, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, Jack Huston, Reeve Carney, and others.

Scott began developing the project in 2006 but quite in 2012 before signing on once again in 2019.

“The House of Gucci” is set to release on November 24, 2021.
