Mbappe was close to joining Real Madrid in 2022 but instead extended his contract for two further years with an option of an additional year.

Speaking to Argentine paper Ole, Tebas revealed his belief that the deal is done.

He said: "He's Madrid's next season, yes."

"If they've signed a five-year deal, he has five seasons of opportunity [to win the Champions League].

"[Mbappe] is one of the best players in the world, but Vinicius and Bellingham are there too, Madrid will have a great squad.

"But that does not guarantee you will win leagues."
