Kyle Walker Joins AC Milan

On Friday, Kyle Walker is officially announced as a player for AC Milan. Both Manchester City and Serie A side confirmed the transfer. 

The 34-year old player will enhance both the right-back position and central defense, positions he has successfully performed throughout his career.

Walker, who joined Manchester City in 2017, made 319 appearances for the Citizens and was a key part of their title victories, including a Champions League and six PL titles.

Milan had Walker him on loan with an option to buy for around five million euros.

Additionally, the club had a contract until 2027 with an annual net salary of 4.5 million euros.

This season, Walker made only 18 appearances with City, though only nine as part of the starting XI in the Premier League and one in the Champions League, which motivated him to seek a new challenge. 

After arriving in Milan on Thursday, the player passed his medical examination, and signed autographs as the club’s latest signing.
