On Monday, media reports indicated that Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has declined a move to the Saudi Pro League after receiving an offer during the winter transfer window.
According to Daily Mail, Walker informed Saudi league officials that he wants to continue his career in Europe.
The report also stated that Italy's AC Milan almost secured the signing of Walker, with negotiations ongoing throughout the week.
The newspaper emphasized that Walker is seeking a contract until 2027 with an annual salary of €4 million, in addition to bonuses, to make the move to the Serie A side.
Walker joined Manchester City in the summer of 2017 from Tottenham Hotspur and his contract with the Citizens is running until June 30, 2026.
