KSA are preparing for a high-profile friendly against Senegal as part of their build-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The match will take place during the Saudi team’s training camp in the United States, scheduled from May 25 to June 11, as confirmed by the national team’s official channels.
The fixture against Senegal is set for June 9 at 6:00 PM local time at the Toyota Field, in San Antonio, Texas. It forms part of the final stage of Saudi Arabia’s comprehensive preparation program for the tournament.
The friendly comes just days after another planned test against Ecuador on May 30, reflecting a demanding schedule designed to sharpen the squad ahead of the World Cup.
KSA have been drawn into Group Eight for the 2026 World Cup, alongside Spain, Uruguay, and Cape Verde.
The national team is now under the leadership of Greek coach Giorgos Donis, who replaced Hervé Renard following a dip in results.
Donis has signed a contract running until July 2027 and is expected to lead the team through the World Cup, Gulf Cup, and subsequent continental tournaments.
The Senegal clash is seen as a key test for the revamped squad as they continue fine-tuning their tactics and squad depth ahead of football’s biggest international competition.
