KSA wrapped up its preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a goalless draw against Senegal in an international friendly played early Wednesday at Toyota Stadium in San Antonio, Texas.

The match served as the final tune-up for both teams ahead of the World Cup, which kicks off on June 11 in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

KSA will begin its Group H campaign against Uruguay, with Spain and Cape Verde also drawn in the group. Senegal, meanwhile, faces a tough Group D challenge alongside France, Iraq, and Norway.

Despite several scoring opportunities, neither side managed to break the deadlock in a closely contested encounter. The result marked Saudi Arabia's first scoreless draw in a friendly match in four years.

Senegal finished the match with 10 men after Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson was shown two yellow cards in quick succession during the closing stages, receiving his marching orders in the 84th minute.

KSA head coach Georgios Donis made sweeping changes in the second half, introducing 10 players, while goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais was the only player to complete the full 90 minutes.

Senegal coach Pape Thiaw also rotated heavily, making nine substitutions after halftime. Only goalkeeper Édouard Mendy and defender Moussa Niakhaté remained from the starting lineup until the final whistle.
