On Sunday, media agencies revealed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia allowed the participation of 10 to 15 Israelis in the Dakar Rally. Moreover, the country allowed some of them to enter the country with their Israeli passports.

Two Israeli teams participated in the event one of them competed under the US flag and the second competed under the Belgium flag, the reports highlighted.

However, the Saudi media ministry’s Center for International Communication did not comment on any requests to respond.

On the other hand, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan expressed that the relations between the KSA and Israeli has become warmer during recent years.

Since September, Israeli airlines were allowed to cross through Saudi airspace on a regular basis, shattering a 72-year taboo according to the Infobae website.
