KSA Al Hilal to Host Urwa in 1st Leg of AFC Champions League Final

Tonight, Saudi Al Hilal will host the Japanese Urwa Red Diamonds in the first leg of the AFC Champions League final.

Al-Hilal, who are the most successful party in the history of this competition, won the tournament on four occasions. His final title win was in 2021, after beating Pohang Steelers in the final.

The Saudi team are seeking to qualify one more time to outfit will again be bidding to qualify for the Club World Cup once again.

Al Hilal participated in the 2022 edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, overcoming Wydad, and Flamengo, before being thrashed by 5-3 defeat by the tournament giants Real Madrid. 

Currently, the Saudi team Ramon Diaz's side are currently fourth in their domestic table, seven points behind leaders Al Ittihad, but they will not be back in league action until May 10, allowing them to fully focus on the two legs of this final.

Al Hilal qualified for the final after defeating Al-Duhail  7-0 in the semi-finals.

On the other hand, Urawa Red Diamonds had a battle with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in the final 4-stage and triumphed 3-1 on penalties, after a 2-2 draw.
