Russian President Vladimir Putin's health is fine, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday, responding to the West fake reporters about the president's heath.

"[Everything] is fine, he is in good health," Peskov assured reporters. He also stated that "both Ukrainian, American and British information 'specialists' have been throwing in various fakes about the president's health in recent months."

During his speech at the Strong Ideas for a New Time forum, Putin apologized for his cough and attributed it to "rustling" air conditioners while visiting Tehran the day before.

The Kremlin spokesman said that "it happens, it's no big deal." "As for the air conditioners, yes, indeed, the heat outside was forty (degrees Celsius - TASS) and it was chilly under the air conditioners. I'm also hoarse, I have the same thing."

Earlier, William Burns, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), claimed that there were many rumors about Putin's health. Last April, media outlets reported that Putin might have to stop the war in Ukraine for days to undergo cancer surgery.

The claims appeared on the popular Telegram channel General SVR, which stated that Putin has been suffering from abdominal cancer and Parkinson’s for 18 months.

“Putin was recommended to undergo surgery, the date of which is being discussed and agreed,” the report noted. “There seems to be no particular urgency, but it cannot be delayed either.”

The Russian leader has oncology and suffers from ‘Parkinson’s disease as well as schizoaffective disorder’, which carries symptoms of schizophrenia including hallucinations and mania, according to a ‘Kremlin insider’ claimed per a DailyMail report.
