Russia announced on Monday that pumping weapons into Ukraine will not enhance security and stability in Europe.

In a statement, the Kremlin added that Putin agreed with the United Nations (UN) that there is a risk of famine due to disruptions in food supplies.

It also declared that Russia is not responsible for the disruption of food supplies, but rather the parties that imposed sanctions on it.

Last Friday, Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State revealed an additional $100 million in military aid to Ukraine.

It is worth mentioning that, the Russian-Ukrainian war has entered its second month as thousands of soldiers from both sides have been killed and millions have been displaced from the Ukrainian side since the start of Russian operations in Ukrainian territory on February 24.

Several countries have imposed significant economic sanctions on Moscow, while Russia has responded by imposing personal sanctions on a number of American and Canadian leaders.
