Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Moscow hopes the date for the next, third round of negotiations with Kyiv will be determined soon.
In remarks reported by the Russian news agency Sputnik on Sunday, Peskov was asked whether any new meetings had been scheduled in the near future. He replied:
“No, not in the immediate future. We are waiting for the third round of negotiations and hope the date will be clarified soon.”
Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister (FM) Hakan Fidan announced on Friday that he had held talks with delegations from both Russia and Ukraine, noting that the parties “have the will” to hold a third round of negotiations.
