The Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Cairo, Oh Sung-ho, has announced the organization of "Korean Cultural Week in Egypt," set to run from September 22 to 28, celebrating the center's 10th anniversary.

The opening ceremony will be held at the Cairo Opera House, featuring a performance by a globally renowned Korean troupe.

The event is being organized in collaboration with Egypt's Ministry of Culture. During a press conference held at the center on Monday, Sung-ho highlighted the participation of Ain Shams University students who will contribute a special performance as part of the festivities.

This year will also witness several additional Korean cultural events and programs, including artistic workshops, screenings of Korean films, and exhibitions showcasing the work of various Korean artists.

Sung-ho emphasized the focus on hosting Korean cultural activities in several Egyptian governorates, such as the "Korean Culture Caravan," to broaden the cultural exchange between the two nations.

Moreover, he announced a growing interest in the Korean language, with more students enrolling in Korean language courses at the center over the past four years of his tenure in Egypt.
