Marcel Koller, Al Ahly head coach, spoke to the media today in the pre-match press conference about the upcoming Egyptian Super Cup final against Modern Future FC, Koller is keen to do and give everything to bring the cup home.

“Lately it’s been really hard for the whole team, especially with the tight fixtures schedule with a little to no time to recover and rest, but we have the experience to deal with such circumstances, that's why the team is set to have a light training session today.”

“Everything is prepared for tomorrow's game, and regarding the line-up it will be decided according to the physical well-being of the players and the tactical plan ".

“There is no such thing as “reserved place “ in the line-up, I give a chance to everyone and to whoever works hard on themselves, besides that, every game has its conditions and its tactics and I put the line-up accordingly “.

Koller also spoke about the injuries that some players caught up saying that it's quite normal to happen, especially with the tight schedule but if a player is injured or not 100% ready, the staff will not risk the player getting injured and will not let them play.

“Regarding the missed chances issue, the staff is aware of it and is trying to work on it but again the tight schedule makes it difficult to thoroughly work on it“.

“As for Koka, he's such a great player, he's got immense potential and he showed some of what he got at FCWC”
