On Sunday, veteran actor Youssef Chaban passed away at the age of 90 years old. Through this story, SEE News overview the late actor's career.

The artist born in 1931, and studied at Faculty of Law regardless his passion to art and painting.

During his university years, he met a number of figures such as actor Karam Motawie, and Saed Abdel Ghani who encouraged him to join the High Institute of Dramatic Arts.

He graduated in 1962, however, he started his career in 1961.

His first role was in "Fi Baitena Ragol" which directed by Barakat.

Next, the actor introduced several unforgettable roles making him one of the Egyptian drama and cinema figures as he participated in 110 film, and 130 TV shows, alongside dozens of theatrical performances.

His most iconic TV appearances include: "Al Watad," "El Hakika Wi El Sarab," "Raa'fat El Hagaan," "Dameer Abla Hikmat," "El Daw' El Shared," and "El Shad Wi El Demo'o."

Regarding his career in cinema, the artist took part in various epic films in the history of Arabic cinema such as "Ma'bodet El Gamaheer," "Om El Arosa," "Fi Baytena Ragol," and "El Rosasa La Tazal Fi Gaibi."
