Reports have dismissed speculation linking Jürgen Klopp with a move to Real Madrid, confirming the German coach is not among the candidates to take over at the Spanish giants.
According to media sources, Klopp remains committed to his current role within the Red Bull project and is not interested in returning to the day-to-day pressures of club management at this stage, effectively ruling out a switch to the Santiago Bernabéu.
Real Madrid are actively exploring alternative options following an underwhelming spell under Álvaro Arbeloa, who took charge in January after succeeding Xabi Alonso. The club is seeking a manager capable of addressing urgent tactical needs amid a challenging season.
Despite long-standing admiration for Klopp dating back to his successful tenure with Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid have never moved forward with a formal approach. The club is known for its careful managerial selections, as seen with the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti in 2021.
Looking ahead, Klopp is reportedly targeting a long-term ambition of managing the Germany national football team after the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
