Khaled Mery... TV Host

It is difficult for a TV host or a program to succeed from the first episode, but Khaled Mery, the editor-in-chief of Al-Akhbar, managed to succeed as a TV host from the first time, and his program Kelmet El-Ser (The Password) on Sada El-Balad satellite channel attracted large audience during the first episode.

In fact, he surprised me as a TV host. Everyone who knows Khaled Mery closely, recognizes that he is a prominent journalist, he isn't very talkative ، he is calm like many senior journalists.

I was afraid that this characters would control him in front of the screen, but he turned into another one, an interviewer who was able to use his tools.

He was able to achieve, during his TV Show last Thursday, great success as the episode spread widely and was circulated on all social media sites to announce the birth of a new TV host who has a simple style and abundant information and managed in his first episode to touch people's interests.

He discussed most of the people's problems and met their needs in well-studied questions and strong answers of  Counselor Omar Marwan, Minister of Justice, and addressed thorny files, including pre-trial detention, personal status law for Christians and Muslims, prison visits, human rights in Egypt, religion field on Egypt's national ID cards, second marriage, and that there is no draft law related to amending the old rent law.

Khaled has been a successful journalist with a distinguished style and successes since he entered Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation.

On the humanitarian level, he is loved. He was elected by many journalists in the Journalists Syndicate, and he was also chosen as the Secretary-General of the Federation Of Arab Journalists.

The content of the episode was excellent and broke the well-known rules, as the first episode of any new TV Show usually doesn't achieve all that successes.

The other rule that Khaled broke is that the TV host who presents a TV Show episode for the first time takes a lot of time to get used to appearing in front of the cameras and talking to the viewer.. It also takes long time from the the viewer to get used to the new TV host and build bridges of trust with him.

I wish dear Khaled Mery, the prominent editor-in-chief of Al-Akhbar, and the new TV host who recently entered the world of satellite channels with a confident footstep, all successes.
