Khaled El Sawy Joins “Elly Maloush Keber“

Egyptian actor, Khaled El Sawy has recently joined the cast of TV series “Elly Maloush Keber“, which is set to be screened in Ramadan 2021.

The series also stars Yasmin Abdelaziz and her husband, actor Ahmed Elawady. It marks the second collaboration between the couple after 2019’s TV series “Lakher Nafas”, which birthed their love story.

The series is a romantic drama genre that arrives from the makers of TV series “Wi Neheb Tani Leh”, scriptwriter Amr Mahmoud Yassin and director Mostafa Fekry.

El Sawy’s fans will also see him in TV series “Cairo-Kabul”, which will also be premiered in Ramadan.

The series will also star Tarek Lotfy, Fathy Abdel Wahab, Hanan Motawie, Sherine, and others.

It is written by Abdel Rahim Kamal and directed by Hossam Ali.

El Sawy participated last Ramadan with TV series “Layalina”.

It is worth mentioning that El Sawy is an Egyptian actor. He was born in Alexandria on November 25, 1963.

El Sawy studied law at Cairo University and started acting while at college at the university’s theater.

After his graduation in 1985, he studied directing at the Academy of Arts till 1993, then started working as an assistant director in the film “Samaka we Arbaa’ Oroush” (A Fish and Four Sharks).

El Sawy served as a director for several of the Nile International network’s satellite channels.

The actor has co-founded the Egyptian Foundation for Theater Enthusiasts, and wrote plays “Haflet Maganin” (Crazy Party), and “Operette El Darfil” (The Dolphin Operette), which he won the Taymour Award for Theatrical Ingenuity in 1991 and 1992 respectively.

El Sawy’s career includes a variety of distinct roles in several films, including “Emaret Yacoubian” (Yacoubian Building), “Keda Reda”, “Cabaret”, “El Farah” (The Wedding), and “El Feel El Azraq” (The Blue Elephant).

He also starred as a lead in television series like “Tofahet Adam” (Adam’s Apple) and “Khatem Suleiman” (Suleiman’s Ring).
