Khaled El Nabawy Falls Ill, Admitted to Hospital

Well-known Egyptian actor Khaled El-Nabawy has been admitted to hospital after suffering a sudden health deterioration, according to his wife Mona al Merghani.

She wrote on her official account on Facebook," Khaled is very ill, and has been admitted to hospital,  please pray for him,", yet she didn't reveal further details.

Meanwhile, prominent writer Farida al Shobashy reassured El-Nabawy's fans about his health condition.

In a press statement, she affirmed that El-Nabawy's health condition is improving after undergoing angioplasty at Al Kasr Al Einy specialized hospital.

He is expected to leave hospital within a few hours, according to close courses.

It is worth mentioning that, Al-Nabawy's latest series  "Mamalik_Al_Nar" achieved a great success.

The historical TV series “Mamalik Al nar” (kingdoms of fire) is a joint Arab series that is produced by the company “Genomedia”, which was filmed in Tunisia.

Its production costs have exceeded 100 million Tunisian dinars ( equivalent to $40 million USD ).

It is written by Mohamed Suleiman Abdel-Malek and Ahmed Nada and directed by British Peter Weber.

Mamalic Al nar stars many Arab actors, including Mahmoud Nasr, Kinda Hanna, Rashid Assaf, Mona Wassef and Egyptian star Khaled El-Nabawy who plays the role of Tuman Bay II, the last Sultan of the Mamelukes, and revealing many facts about this era that was still unknown.
