Emmy and Grammy-nominated Comedian and actor Kevin Hart appeared on the Impaulsive podcast, where he updated fans on how his Hollywood buddy Jamie Foxx as he remains in hospital.

"The dope thing is that he's getting better in his situation, and everybody's prayers, everybody's love, energy, all that stuff is seen and felt," Hart said in Logan Paul and Mike Majlak's Impaulsive podcast.

The 55-year-old star has been hospitalized for the past three weeks for an undisclosed medical complication.

"In this case, you just want the guy to get out of the situation and get back home," Hart said.

Details around Foxx's health emergency and hospitalization have been scarce and out of respect for Foxx's privacy.

Hart admitted that he doesn't know "the exact details" but to his knowledge, "there's a lot of progression and a world of better,".

"I've heard things. I'm very fortunate to have the relationship with Jamie, that I can check on things. They're being tight [with information] for reasons — just about where he is — because Jamie's always been a private person," Hart said.

Hart went on to express his love for Foxx, saying that the Oscar winner is "needed" and "necessary".

"I know that he knows that, and I know that he feels that because there's been an outcry and outpour of support in his regard, and I can only hope that it continues," he added.

On Thursday, Hollywood star Jamie Foxx released his first statement since his hospitalization.

“Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” the Oscar-winning actor posted on Instagram along with a prayer hands, heart, and fox emoji.

On April 13, the Oscar-winning actor's daughter Corinne Foxx revealed he experienced a medical complication and is recovering.

She did not share details of Foxx's condition or what led to his health emergency.

"Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time," the statement read.

Foxx has been in Atlanta, Georgia, filming an upcoming Netflix comedy movie with Cameron Diaz, “Back in Action”. Directed by “Horrible Bosses” helmer Seth Gordon, it also stars Glenn Close, “Fleabag” priest Andrew Scott and comedian Jamie Demetriou.

Diaz came “out of retirement” for the project, her first in almost a decade.

A source previously said that the medical incident did not happen on the set and Foxx was not transported by emergency vehicle to the hospital.

A separate source close to the production of the movie disclosed that Back in Action's set was "shut down" following the actor's health scare. Filming resumed later using a stand-in for Foxx on set.

"Back in Action" continued filming with stand-ins and body doubles for Foxx, and has reportedly wrapped.
