It seems that American pop star Katy Perry's little girl already has her mother's sense of humor.

The mom-to-be shared on Instagram a video from her recent ultrasounds of her first child with her actor fiance Orlando Bloom.

Early March, Perry used her music to announce her pregnancy as she featured cradling her growing baby bump at the end of her music video of her latest single “Never Worn White”.

Last April, she revealed on social media the gender of her baby with a messy picture of Bloom whose face was covered in pink-toned whipped cream, which was captioned: “It’s a girl,”.

The 35-year-old singer is reportedly planning to name her baby girl after her late grandmother, Ann Pearl Hudson, who passed away shortly after Perry announced her pregnancy, according to multiple reports.

Early April, sources revealed on Rob Shuter’s podcast “‎Naughty But Nice with Rob Shuter”, revealed that Perry is naming her baby Pearl, Hudson, or Ann.

The source stated that Perry’s grandmother was the one who shaped her into the “women” and the “fighter” that she is today.

“Katy believes that it is not a coincidence that her grandmother soul leaves the earth, and another arrives.”

Perry announced her grandmother’s death in a lengthy tribute on March 9.

On March 8, Perry admitted that she was hoping to have a girl during her performance at the Women’s Cricket World Cup Final in Melbourne, Australia.

The pair were set to get married originally in front of 150 guests in Japan later this year, however like so many people in the world, they have also been forced to push the date to 2021 back due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The “teenage dream” singer and the “lord of the rings” actor first started dating after meeting at the 2016 Golden Globes, before Bloom proposed to her on Valentine’s Day in 2019.

The 35-year-old singer is expected to give birth in the summer, which will Bloom second, being that he shares a 9-year-old son named Flynn with his former wife Miranda Kerr.

Last April, the pop star addressed whether if she was planning to have a baby shower amid a global pandemic.

Perry went on another Facebook Live chat and answered fans’ questions about both the show and her personal life.

The American Idol judge, who is expecting her first child with Bloom, stated that the current events have thrown all her preconceptions.

“I know not everyone does a babymoon or a baby shower, but I’m not sure I’m gonna be able to do any of that. I’m just taking it one day at a time” she said.

Katy Perry upcoming project

In early May, Perry has announced a new song titled “Daisies”,  from her forthcoming fifth album.

The pop star and American Idol judge shared the news via Instagram along with the cover art of the song, which featured Perry surrounded by flowers as she smiles and looks up at the sky.

“🌼 The first single from #KP5 is called #DAISIES and she’s coming MAY 15, 2020 🌼 THE MUSIC MUST GO ON” she captioned.

The singer’s celebrity friends, such as Demi Lovato and Charlie Puth, couldn’t contain their excitement, with Lovato writing, “Cute!!!” and Puth adding, “I LOVE this one.”, neither could Perry’s fiance actor, Orlando Bloom and father of her first child,  who also wrote: “My favorite ❤️🔥”.

Fans quickly speculated that the new single could be a collaboration with the American singer-songwriter, Taylor Swift, due to Swift posting a new picture of herself, wearing a beige sweater with navy daisies that resembles the ones on Perry’s picture, which got the fans freaking out.

“🍷 🐍 biiig isolation 🐍 🍷” Swift captioned the picture, adding the famous snake emoji that she proudly reclaimed as her own after the Kim Kardashian West feud, during which she described her as a snake.

Swift fans also recalled the day when Perry sent Taylor an olive branch, ending their longtime feud, which dates on May 7, 2019.

Perry and Swift were noticeably feuding since 2014, but they put the past behind them after Perry extending the olive branch and then making a guest appearance in Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down” music video.
