Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom Visit Pyramids

U.S pop singer Katy Perry has posted on Instagram her first photos from her visit to Egypt, which comes as a part of her 35th birthday tour.

"Ancient Egyptians believed that when you pass on your heart had to be weighed. It had to be lighter than a feather to be qualified for the trip to the afterlife. My mother has called me feather since I was a little girl and I hope after all is said and done my heart is as light as one. This is 35." she captioned.

During her visit to Egypt, she was accompanied by her fiancé, English actor Orlando Bloom, friends and family to celebrate her 35th birthday.

She had also visited other tourist attraction sites in Egypt including Siwa Oasis and White Dessert.

Perry visited Morocco and France with 30 of her friends, before coming to Egypt to celebrate her birthday on a tour that lasted for an entire week.

The teenage dream singer and the lord of the rings actor first started dating after meeting at the 2016 Golden Globes, before Bloom proposed to her on Valentine’s Day this year.
