Portuguese club  C.D. Aves have announced the signing of Egypt international winger and former Zamalek player Mahmoud Kahraba for a 2 year contract.

The 25-year-old failed to report back to his club Zamalek’s pre-season training camp due to a disagreement over the validity of his contract at the club.

Zamalek’s president Mortada Mansour declared that Kahraba is under a contract until June 2023 and that the player is not allowed to move on a free transfer.

One the contrary, Kahraba and his agent claim that the player’s contract at Zamalek has run out on June 30, which will allow him to sign for any club.

Despite threats from the Zamalek president, Kahraba travelled to Europe to negotiate with some clubs over the transfers.

According to reports, the player had offers Beşiktaş and Denizlispor, but they couldn’t reach an agreement with the player who decided to sign for Portugal’s C.D. Aves, as KingFut reported on Thursday.
