K-Pop star Park Bo Ram passed away suddenly at the age of 30 years old, her agency announced on Friday.
According to Korean reports, the singer was spending a night at a friend’s house with two other people on Thursday night.
Shortly, she allegedly went to the bathroom just before 10 pm, and was found slouched over the sink, unconscious, when her friends went to check on her.
They called concerned authorities and had CPR on her.
All attempts to save Park were unsuccessful. She was pronounced dead around 11:17 pm.
The agency said in a statement: “Park Bo Ram suddenly left us on the late evening of April 11. Our hearts are deeply troubled as we deliver this sudden news to her fans."
The cause of death was not announced, however, various Korean media outlets said police is still investigating.
