On Friday, Serie A side Juventus sacked their coach Massimiliano Allegri, two days after capturing Coppa Italia title.

Juventus still have two games left in Serie A for this season which Allegri was due to miss them after a two-game suspension for his behaviour in the final on Wednesday.

Allegri conducted several aggressive behaviours during the final of the Coppa Italia Cup, including the game's referee, the Sporting Director of the club, and journalists.

Juventus said in a statement that Allegri's behaviour was not in line with their "values."

The club's statement read: "The firing follows certain behaviours during and after the Italian Cup final that the club deemed incompatible with the values of Juventus, and the behaviour that those who represent it should have."

Allegri was also fined $5,400 by the Serie A league judge as he "acted aggressively" and used insulting language and gestures toward the referees.

The Italian football federation also commented on the incident saying: "We can confirm that an investigation on incident (that) happened during the Coppa Italia Final, in which ... Allegri and Tuttosport newspaper's director Guido Vaciago were involved, is in due course amongst the FIGC's Prosecutor Office."
