The first half ended without goals until stoppage time, when Lameck Banda broke the deadlock for Lecce in the 45+2 minute, giving the visitors a surprise lead before the break.
Juventus responded quickly after halftime, with American international Weston McKennie scoring the equalizer in the 49th minute to restore balance for the Bianconeri.
Despite controlling large spells of the match, Juventus were unable to find a winning goal and had to settle for a single point.
With this result, Juventus sit fifth in the Serie A standings with 33 points, while Lecce remain 16th with 17 points.
