Juventus FC have officially announced a contract extension for captain Manuel Locatelli, adding two more years to his deal and keeping him at the club until the summer of 2030.
Locatelli joined Juventus in 2021 from US Sassuolo in a deal worth €37.5 million, after progressing through the academy of AC Milan.
According to the club’s official statement, the new agreement replaces his previous contract, which was set to expire in June 2028. The extension reflects Juventus’ commitment to maintaining stability and building around key players.
As part of the renewal, Locatelli is expected to receive a salary increase, rising from €3 million to €4 million annually, in recognition of his leadership and consistent performances.
The move comes as part of a broader strategy by Juventus to secure its core squad, following recent renewals for players such as Kenan Yıldız and Weston McKennie.
Additionally, the club previously extended the contract of head coach Luciano Spalletti for two more seasons, keeping him in charge until 2028 as part of a long-term project aimed at returning Juventus to major titles.
