Juventus, and Bologna, officially, advanced to the upcoming UEFA Champions League.
Juventus booked their seats in the upcoming UEFA Champions League after Atalanta defeated AS Roma 2-1 in the 36th round of the Serie A.
In the same round, Juventus had a 1-1 draw with Salernitana, while Bologna lost 0-2 to Napoli.
For the upcoming edition, Italy will be represented by five teams in the UEFA Champions League.
The forthcoming participation will indicate Juventus return to the prestigious European club competition after their 1-year ban due to fair play regulations.
On the other hand, Bologna will make their UEFA Champions League debut next year. In addition, this will be their first European participation in more than 20 years.
The Italian teams that advanced to the tournament are Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus, Bologna.
