On Wednesday, Serie A side, Juventus, appointed Thiago Motta as their new head coach on a three-year deal until 2027.
Motta replaces former manager Massimiliano Allegri, who was sacked in May.
Motta joined Juventus from Bologna.
“I am really happy to begin a new chapter at the helm of a great club like Juventus. I thank the owners and the management, who can be sure of my ambition to keep the Juventus flag flying high and to please the fans," he told Juventus official website.
The 41-year-old coach was appointed Bologna head coach in September 2022 and captured a ninth-placed finish in Serie A in his first season.
He led the team this season to a continental competition.
