June 29: Egypt Sees Extremely Hot, Humid Weather on Saturday, Cairo 37°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather to prevail in most parts of the country, during daylight hours on Saturday.

Hot and humid weather is also predicted to hit the North Coast.

There will a slight decline in temperatures by 2:3 degrees. 

Winds will be active across the country.

There will also be a disruption of maritime navigation in the western shores of the Mediterranean Sea with wind speed reaching 40 to 60 km/hr and wave height ranging from 2 to 3 meters.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.75 and 2.25 meters with northwest surface winds.

Moreover, most parts of the country will experience moderately hot and humid weather at nighttime.

Moderate and humid weather is also predicted to prevail in the North Coast.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 37°C in Cairo, 31°C in Alexandria, 30°C in Marsa Matruh, 41°C in Sohag, 45°C in Qena, and 45°C in Aswan.
