Jumana Mourad Recovers from Coronavirus

Syrian actress Jumana Mourad announced Monday on Facebook that she and her family recovered from the coronavirus.

Mourad had contracted the deadly virus, on December 26, 2020.

In a statement, the Syrian actress affirmed that she took all precautions against the virus, stating that she got infected from one of the cooks that work at her home.

She advised everyone to adhere to preventive and precautionary measures against the spread of Coronavirus to avoid being infected.

The coronavirus outbreak has created a global health crisis. The deadly virus was first reported in Wuhan, China has infected more than 85,091,012 people, and killed over 1,861,005 worldwide. It also hit many celebrities and top political figures around the world.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared on March 11, 2020 coronavirus a global pandemic as the new virus has rapidly spread to more than 800,000 people from Asia to the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

Transmission of viruses between humans happens when someone comes into contact with an infected person’s secretions, such as droplets in a cough.

They can also be transmitted by coming into contact with something an infected person has touched and then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes.

It is known that older people appear to be more vulnerable to the effects of the emerging virus.
