The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot to extremely hot, humid weather will prevail across the country during Sunday's daylight hours.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, Canal Cities, and Central Sinai.
Wind will occur occasionally across the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1.25 and 2 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
Moderately hot and humid weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early hours.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 35°C in Cairo, 30°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Marsa Matruh, 29°C in Sohag, 43°C in Qena, and 43°C in Aswan.
