The Egyptian court decided not to accept a lawsuit demanding to remove Mohamed Ramadan from the lists of the Representative Professions Syndicate permanently and to prevent him from practicing the profession of acting.
The lawsuit was filed by a lawyer against the Captain of Actors Ashraf Zaki and the actor Mohamed Ramadan stated: "Video clips of some young people imitating him have spread on social media. His artworks lack the simplest professional and technical standards to present a distorted and bad example for the Egyptian youth."
The lawsuit added: "His works represent an artistic and moral decline, the decline of the Egyptian art, which has long stood as a support for Egypt, defending its principles. As for the artworks presented by some people, they are entrenched to create a morally distorted generation."
Attacks on Ramadan continue by artistic authorities. The Captain of the Musicians in Egypt, Hany shaker, announced a few days ago, referring Ramadan to investigation and banning his concerts in Egypt.
