To assert the joint cooperation between the Arab Republic of Egypt and South Sudan State, the Egyptian House of Representatives (HoR) received this morning a judicial delegation within the frame of the training program mounted by the Ministry of Justice for brethren of South Sudan in fields of enacting legislations, crimes of the Internet and the definition of human rights.
The visiting delegation toured the corridors of the HoR, the museum, and the main hall that houses the plenary sessions.
Members of the delegation listened to an explanation of the history of parliamentarian life in Egypt.
Memorial photos were taken for the delegation members and Counselor Ala El-Din Ahmed Fouad, Minister of Parliamentarian Affairs, and Ahmed Badawy, a lawmaker and head of the Committee of Communications and Information Technology at the House of Representatives.
At the closing of the tour, the South Sudanese delegation met with Counselor Ahmed Manae, Secretary-General of the HoR in his office.
The delegation members expressed their happiness as they visited the Egyptian parliament which is the oldest legislative council in Africa and the Arab World.
On his part, the Secretary-General of the HoR wished fine accommodation for the visiting delegate in Egypt as their second homeland.
He praised strongly the relations between the two sisterly countries in all fields.
