The Council of Journalists Syndicate decided on Tuesday to boycott actor Mohamed Ramadan's news and not to publish its pictures on any media outlet until the end of the ongoing investigations.

In a statement, the council condemned Ramadan's photos with Israelis at a concert in Dubai, which went viral on social media and sparked angry popular reactions.

The council slammed Ramadan's violation of the Union of Artistic Syndicates that refuses any form of normalization of ties with Israel.

It hailed the union's decision to suspend Ramadan from work pending an investigation.

Earlier, Number One explained he respects the syndicate’s decision despite explaining the situation. He pointed out that he did not know the person’s nationality and if he knew he would have no doubt refused to take the picture.

In a Facebook post, he sarcastically thanking the Syndicate of Acting Professions. It is worth noting the production company that canceled his upcoming Ramadan series.
