The High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said that the Russian attack on Ukraine threatens the security of the entire Europe.
Borrell condemned - in an article in the British newspaper "The Guardian" - the Russian military operation that began in Ukraine last Thursday.
He explained that what the Russian president is currently violating the basic principles of peaceful coexistence between human beings, stressing the need for solidarity, solidarity and expressing a frank stance towards Russian practices.
Borrell explained that the reality indicates that what is currently happening in Ukraine is an unjustified attack by a nuclear superpower that has invaded a peaceful neighboring country that does not pose any threat or danger to it.
He expressed his belief that the goal of the Russian military operation is not Ukraine, but the security of Europe as a whole and the global system governed by rules and laws, which is based on the foundations of the United Nations system and international law.
